Johnson

Legendary Dependability.

Relied upon for over 80years.

At Johnson, We've had more than 80 years to define what we are. And what we're not. Since we first took to the water in 1921, we've powered countless boats for a myriad of purposes. Fishing and hunting. Working and relaxing. We know what matters in an outboard. Like smooth, consistent starts. Reliable performance, day in and day out, year after year, fair weather or foul, tropical heat or arctic cold. No exceptions. No excuses.

Being part of Bombardier family means adopting the kinds of standards that make quality a given. The result is a "never say-die" attitude throughout our entire line of outboards. And in 2003, that line is broader than ever, with a truly impressive range of Johnson engines, including ten new models for 2003. Whatever type if boater you are- salt water or fresh, two or four-stroke- there's a Johnson outboard to meet your needs. And from the quiet performance of the smooth four-strokes to the famous power of the big horsepower two-stroke technology, you get that legendary Johnson durability. After all, we're talking about an outboard that's been at it for generations.

Loyalty. Guts. Determination. That's what Johnson is all about.

 Johnson Four-Stroke

Up to any challenge

With five new four-stroke in 2003 – including the powerful 140, 115, and 90 HP models – Johnson Outboards' cruise towards perfection continues. They're quieter, smoother and 100 percent compliant with the toughest 2006 federal standards for emissions. And Johnson 40-140 four-strokes accelerate faster and run smoother than a four-stroke has a right to, 'thanks to Sequential multi-Port Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) – our method of getting the fuel charge into the cylinder at the precise moment.

On top of that, each and every Johnson outboard is tested to ensure it meets and exceeds Bombardier's high quality standards. The same exacting standards that all Bombardier brands have to measure up against whether it is Bombardier  ATV, Ski-Doo snowmobiles or Learjet aircraft, to name a few, The result is an outboard that is up to any challenge.
