The FAIRLINE marque was born of one man’s vision and passion for excellence. Jack Newington, the company’s founder, was a man committed to the highest ideals of quality and integrity; more than that, he had the rare ability to take his own high standards and values and weave them into the fabric of what was to become the hugely successful enterprise that is the Fairline of today.

His son, Sam, led the company for 25 formative years and was from the same mould, driving it forward with a single-minded commitment to quality and innovation. Even now, forty years on, those original and essential core values still drive everything we do.

In short, Fairline excels at building boats that delight, exhilarate and astonish their owners. This is the marque for those who look beyond the brash and the superficial. These are boats with a beauty and integrity that is truly ‘more than skin deep’. Boats built with a rare passion … and a unique level of excellence.

ALL BOATS ARE NOT CREATED EQUAL

“The performance, style and craftsmanship is not in question, but what are the major differences in building techniques that make a Fairline the natural choice?”

We are often asked this sort of question, not only by potential clients, but also by existing owners eager to learn about the technical details and specifications that make their boat different to most others, and fascinated to know how those differences come together to give a Fairline its unique appeal. There are plenty more for those who want to dig even deeper, but here are just eight important and interesting points we are justifiably proud of.

The Hull is bonded to the deck; then bolted in place.

We design and build a specific interior liner moulding for each model, which is then bonded inside the hull. The deck and superstructure are then bonded and bolted to the hull, creating an incredibly strong structure, with enormous torsional rigidity. No other manufacturer invests in the time and effort necessary to achieve this level of solid strength and structural integrity. And there’s something else too; unlike most other boat builders, we lay-up unidirectional and woven rovings by hand and every gelcoat layer is brushed on, meticulously, for maximum integrity. These are the foundations of Fairline’s legendary build quality and performance.

Double gelcoat outside, plus a flow-coat inside the hull.

Two gelcoat layers for the outer hull give a really tough finish with the added benefit of being easier to repair in the event of a minor knock or scratch. In addition, we coat all interior hull surfaces, including the bilges and stowage areas, to give a smooth, easy-to-clean, durable finish.

Each model has a different, and unique, hull form and design.

This may not sound special, but it is. Every hull design should be the “ideal” and optimised for its length, beam and power, to ensure the best possible all-round performance. This means we never just shorten, lengthen or re-shape an existing hull design or add a fixed bathing platform to create a “new” model, as some others do!

Listen! No noise, squeaks, creaks or rattles.

You may find this hard to believe, but each timber bulkhead is crafted to exactly mate and match to an individual hull and glassed in place, without the use of any packing or jointing pieces … or sealant! Much time and effort is also poured into making doors fit firmly and snugly, eliminating typical sources of rattle and hum. This level of precision ensures a quieter, more solid-feeling boat with matchless strength, durability and quality.

Engineering planning that pays off later.

Fairline engines are pre-fitted on their rubber mountings and left to ‘settle’ for some weeks on the shop floor while the boat is being built and before they are installed in the hull itself. This unusual technique eliminates the usual need for the proud new owner to book his boat in for shaft re-alignment after the first few hours of running. Sensible and thoughtful.

A perfect match of quality and craftsmanship.

Genuine solid woods and veneers of the highest standard are individually crafted for each boat and we go to great lengths to make sure the grain is perfectly matched, both horizontally and vertically, on all panels and cabinetry. We even make sure no screw-heads are visible to spoil the sheer beauty of line and form that such woodwork creates!

Your Comfort is our priority .

Our full-length mattresses are either pocket-sprung or of the highest quality reflex foam, our curtains have proper “blackout” linings, our carpets are thoroughly insulated, and even the cooling water from the generator is exhausted silently; all thoughtful features to make sure you and your guests get a good night’s sleep.

Quality Assurance.

Every boat we produce has an individual quality certification procedure, a rigorous process that can involve over 2,000 separate checks. The visual inspection stage alone takes around 30 hours, depending on the model. In recognition of our stringent attention to this aspect of our production, Fairline was the first British boat manufacturer ever to receive a BS5750/ISO9001 quality accreditation.

A black calfskin strap, a stainless steel case, and a sapphire crystal replica watches cover make the rolex replica uk well worth the asking price. The Men’s Luno watch was clearly influenced by its predecessor, the replica watches sale. It has the same black dial, the gold marker at the twelve o’clock hour, as well as the sapphire crystal rolex replica cover. The two most obvious discrepancies between the close cousins are the bracelet and the hour hands. The replica watches sale is stainless steel, which makes it a slightly sportier version that can be worn at work or at play. The Luno also has breitling replica sale hands and a gold-plated bezel. Neither watch should be worn in the water, however, though they claim they are water resistant up to 99 feet.
